Sales Development Rep (SDR)

Help prospects discover a better approach to customer self-service. We are seeking to hire an individual who works hard and has the potential to grow into a sales leader within ServiceTarget. If chosen for this role, you will join an experienced team that is focused on delivering value for customers. We will invest in training and mentoring you to become successful.

As a business development specialist, you will be expected to help identify new customer prospects and reach out to them via email, social and phone campaigns. You will also be expected to define processes and best practices and use those practices to train and grow others.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts

  • Discover new leads and outreach opportunities through internet research, social media monitoring and using tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, DiscoverOrg etc.

  • Leverage cold calling, outbound email and social selling strategies to reach qualified prospects and gain traction within accounts

  • Explain the business value of ServiceTarget and add value at every interaction

  • Follow-up with previous contacts to nurture leads and identify when the opportunity is ready for an account executive to engage

  • Secure introductory meetings and discovery calls between leaders at target companies and account executives to generate qualified business opportunities

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline that supports our growth targets

  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly metrics such as touches, appointments, sales qualified leads

  • Manage prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in CRM

  • Track and report on all activities and results using CRM

  • Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, outgoing personality, not afraid to talk to strangers!

  • Quick learner who is self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
