Prospect Research & Database Specialist

As a Prospect Research Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the success of our Sales Team and will have a thorough understanding of sales processes and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Your analysis will help us define priorities that will impact our engagement with prospects, customers and future opportunities. Customer Success Specialist has the opportunity to grow their careers through a focus on skill development and a performance-based role progression path.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts comprehensive prospect, market and competitive research & analysis which informs the business development process and helps our Sales Team achieve results

  • Leverage the internet and existing technologies to research key data points and personas which signal a potentially high-value prospect for ServiceTarget

  • Research lists of companies to expand our prospect database

  • Evaluate prospects and add new account data

  • Maintain accurate account data for existing accounts in CRM

  • Communicate pertinent new information to the Sales Team as appropriate

  • Prioritize and score prospects based on the likelihood of purchase

  • Partner with the sales organization to engage and qualify prospects

  • Recognize and identify an opportunity to optimize our CRM system

  • Provide KPIs and other performance indicators related to sales, marketing, lead quality, and overall performance

  • Lead special research projects

  • Other analytics and research projects as assigned

Hard Skill Requirements:

  • Strong research skills and attention to details

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Strong knowledge ofExcel,PowerPoint, and Word

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High School Diploma plus 2 years of work experience or college degree and 0-2 years of work experience

  • Interest in technology
