Content Marketing Intern has the opportunity to grow their careers through a focus on skill development and a performance-based role progression path.


What you will get from this role

Unlike internships at other organizations, our Content Marketing Interns gain meaningful experience through challenging projects working side by side with our marketing professionals. You can expect to develop marketable skills by engaging or assisting with four key areas of content development and distribution process including research, planning, authoring, and promotion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team with all production elements of new and repurposed content driven by a content team including writing support, editorial reviews, publishing, and distribution.

  • Research industry trend topics and brainstorm content ideas, topics, titles.

  • Conduct interviews with the thought leadership team, and maintain thorough notes.

  • Write/edit/update draft articles, blogs, case studies, white papers, and website content.

  • Create content assets (graphics, charts, short video, etc).

  • Manage content promotions calendar and draft and schedule posts for internal and external audiences.  

  • Arrange logistics and reviews of customer videos and case studies.

  • Design marketing surveys and mold the survey results in blog articles.

  • Gather metrics on content via Google Analytics, etc.

  • Draft outbound marketing emails and templates.

  • Support additional duties as assigned.

It is necessary for this Intern candidate to be in college with a graduation date of 2019 or later. Candidates will be expected to work at least 20 hours a week during the school year and have the ability to work full-time during the summer and school breaks.   


Hard Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent writing, communication, and proofreading skills.

  • Full competence with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop, DaVinci, Canva, Squarespace, WordPress.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accredited college/university

  • Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Preferred major(s) – Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, English, etc.

Soft Skills Requirements:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Creative thinker and problem solver

  • Ability to work at a fast pace, handling multiple projects at once.
